Getting to know the Speaker: Ceejai' Jenkins Born October 18, 1991, In East Saint Louis, IL, CeeJai' Jenkins has always had an exuberant light following her. Growing up in what some would call "unfortunate circumstances", CeeJai' has made her mark in the community by being the change in society that she wants to see. She enjoys meeting new faces of new backgrounds and not only does she enjoy it, but her laughter and honesty is so genuine, that she makes you feel warmly appreciated and needed. CeeJai' has a way to get others' to love her and it's no doubt that the love is indefinite. CeeJai' stands as an advocate against domestic violence and any abuse and many other social injustices that we see in our everyday lives. CeeJai' chooses to use her platforms to speak out against the wrongdoings against people like herself. No matter the race, religion, or circumstance. A small girl out of a small town with a big heart and mind, can only excite you on her experiences with life. CeeJai' made her debut on television with Season 31 of MTVs The Real World in 2016. On the show, Ceejai' experienced racism and bigotry first hand and although it wasn't easy, CeeJai' taught all those who viewed the show, what patience and empathy was. Although she was provoked on many occasions, CeeJai' showed the network and its viewers a different side of a strong willed woman. Other than physicality, she showed us strength mentally and spiritually.
